The discipline studies structure of the Kazakh (Russian) language, functional and stylistic stratification of language, styles, norms, covers specifics of scientific style for the purpose of development and activization of professional and communicative skills and abilities of students, will practically allow students to seize bases of scientific style and also develops ability to make the structural-semantic analysis of the text, forming skills of writing of the main genres of educational and scientific secondary texts: abstract, theses, summary, paper, response, review.
The discipline is focused on mastering the principles of academic writing and preparing scientific texts in accordance with national and international standards. It covers the structure, logic, and style of scientific publications, methods of argumentation, working with scientific sources, rules of citation and academic integrity, as well as techniques for editing scientific texts and the nuances of scientific communication within the academic environment.
