Disciplines taught

Web programming

The purpose of this discipline is to teach client and server programming, including analysis methods, the study of modern web technologies and web development languages. After completing the course, the student will be able to apply the methodology of project management for the development of Web-oriented information systems, program in HTML, CSS, Java Script, PHP, CMS, program algorithms for solving problems in the field of programming for the Internet, debug programs for working on the Internet, create and publish their own websites on the Internet.

Web developing

The course of the discipline is aimed at teaching client and server web programming, including analysis methods, the study of modern Web technologies and web development languages (HTML, CSS, Java Script, PHP, CMS web programming technology tools); the basics of programming on the client and server side. The purpose of the course is the formation of students' theoretical knowledge of programming on the Internet, the formation of students' skills and abilities to work with WEB pages and effectively combine elements created using various technologies As a result of studying this discipline, the student will master the knowledge and skills of practical work in the field of developing and creating static and dynamic web pages, mastering this subject area, its terminology and specifics; the ability to navigate Internet application development technologies and apply them in professional activities.

Interfaces and protocols for data transmission in the electrical power engineering

The purpose of the discipline is to master general knowledge of the architecture of microprocessor systems( MPS), the processes of information exchange on buses, processor functions, addressing methods, the main processor commands, the structure of the processor core, the organization of program memory, the organization of I/O ports, timers and auxiliary hardware. As a result of studying the discipline, the student will gain skills in using and designing modern software products for managing processes and production; working with modern types of structural microprocessor devices. The student can use the acquired knowledge in the future in the research, design and operation of electric power systems.

Information and communication technology

This discipline provides for the study of the basic concepts of parallel computing, necessary for the subsequent study of models, methods and technologies of parallel programming. In a simple and understandable form, the course provides examples of modern high-performance computing systems, discusses ways to analyze the complexity of calculations and assess the possibility of their parallel execution, provides the basics of developing parallel methods. The purpose of the discipline is to familiarize students with the totality of information processing tools and personnel combined to achieve certain goals.

Software Testing

The purpose of the discipline is to familiarize students with the main types and methods of software testing with a structural and object-oriented approach in programming, mastering modern testing tools, gaining experience in testing computer programs. As a result of the training, the student will be able to demonstrate skills according to the criteria and types of testing, perform modular, integration and system testing, apply general principles of test automation, use tools and methods of unit testing, evaluate the complexity of testing a software product using a mathematical model, conduct all types of testing.
