On March 1, 2025, the International Engineering and Technological University (METU) hosted the «Monetization of Ideas» competition, organized in partnership with 1C.

The competition aimed to popularize economic and IT specialties and attract talented high school students (grades 9-11) and college students. Participants presented innovative projects and startup ideas, showcasing their potential in digital technologies, entrepreneurship, and business analytics.

During the event, experts from METU and 1C evaluated projects based on uniqueness of the idea, economic viability, technological implementation, and startup potential. The winners received valuable prizes and an opportunity for training and internships at leading industry companies.

METU continues to support initiatives focused on fostering entrepreneurial thinking and digital skills among young people, creating an environment for the realization of promising ideas and innovative solutions.
