Students of the Department of Software METU University, Erkinbekuly Taskyn and Zhumabay Asylzhan, took part in the interdepartmental scientific and practical conference titled "Current State and Prospects for the Development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in the Military Sphere: Analysis and Forecast." The conference was organized by the Military Engineering Institute of Radio Electronics and Communications.

The event gathered leading experts and scientists in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as students and young specialists interested in cutting-edge technologies in the military sphere. During the conference, current issues related to the development of drones, their application in the military sector, and the prospects of their use for ensuring security and enhancing the effectiveness of military operations were discussed.

Participation in such major scientific events not only allows METU students to deepen their knowledge in software engineering but also enables them to contribute to the development of advanced technologies actively used in modern military applications.
