On April 3, 2025, an informative and educational lecture on "Prevention of Religious Extremism and Terrorism" was held at the International Engineering and Technology University (IETU). The event was organized at the initiative of the departments of "Social and Humanitarian Disciplines and World Languages," "Food Production Equipment and Technology," "Smart Technologies in Engineering," and "Software Engineering," with the active support of academic advisors.

    This event was more than just a lecture—it served as a platform for open dialogue and idea exchange aimed at countering the spread of radical ideologies among youth. Advisors actively participated alongside their students, voiced their opinions, and encouraged critical thinking and deeper understanding of the topic. Their involvement significantly contributed to the students’ moral and ethical development. The main goal of the event was to enhance students’ and faculty members’ legal literacy, promote secular consciousness and civic responsibility, and build strong societal resilience against radicalism and violence.

  During the lecture, participants received comprehensive information on how to identify signs of extremist activity, the ways radical ideologies spread, their harmful impact on society, and both legal and informational methods of resistance. Special attention was paid to the dangers of false religious propaganda spreading through the internet and social media, along with strategies for individual and collective protection.

    The lecture was held in an interactive format, with students actively asking questions and sharing their thoughts. Real-life examples and practical cases helped participants gain a deeper understanding of the topic`s importance.

   At the end of the event, participants emphasized the vital role each citizen plays in combating extremism and terrorism. It was once again affirmed that public harmony and peaceful coexistence are our shared responsibility.
