On March 15, 2025, the regional armwrestling competition took place in Almaty, where Michael Alexandrovich Klimachev, a student of the Department of Biochemical Engineering at METU, achieved a convincing victory by winning on both hands and securing two gold medals.
This success marked a significant milestone in his sports career. During the qualifying competition for the Kazakhstan National Armwrestling Championship, Michael demonstrated excellent physical fitness and skill, confidently defeating his opponents.
