On April 9, 2025, a guest lecture titled “Tourism Development in Kazakhstan: Traditions, Nature, Technologies” was held at the International Engineering and Technology University (MIETU).

The invited speaker was Aisha Ermekovna Shakenova – Master of Tourism, Category III Tour Guide, and Head of Inbound Tourism at ITRAVELERKZ. With her rich professional experience and passion for the tourism industry, she shared real-life cases and practical insights that captivated the audience.

Students of the "Tourism" program were actively engaged, asking insightful questions, participating in discussions, and showing great interest in current trends in the tourism sector.

The lecture became a valuable practical platform for future tourism specialists, where theoretical knowledge met real-world professional practice. Key topics included sustainable tourism, the use of technology in tourism, and working with international travelers.

The event was organized by the Department of Economics and Business, continuing its mission to support student development and strengthen ties with industry professionals.
