On April 22, 2025, the
International Engineering and Technology University (MЕTU) conducted a career guidance session at the Profile School of Al-Farabi
Kazakh National University. The meeting brought together approximately 60
students and graduates from the 11th grade.
During the event, participants
received a comprehensive overview of MЕTU’s modern
education system, its international partnerships, dual-degree learning format,
state-of-the-art laboratory and technological base, and the benefits of
practice-oriented training. The attendees showed strong interest in the
university’s academic programs and asked a range of questions to help define
their professional paths.
Special attention was given to
the educational programs of the Department
of Food Production Technology and Engineering. The structure of the
program, stages of industrial internships, graduate employment prospects, and current
market demand for specialists were all thoroughly explained.
Participants were also
informed about key topics such as minimum
passing scores, state
educational grants, tuition
discounts for fee-paying students, dual-degree programs, academic
mobility, student housing,
campus infrastructure, and scholarship systems.
Importantly, it was
highlighted that MЕTU annually organizes a subject-based Olympiad
for prospective students. This competition offers talented school students an
excellent opportunity to demonstrate their academic potential. Based on the
results, winners are awarded special
Rector’s Grants, along with discounts
of 100%, 50%, or 25% for tuition on a paid basis. These incentives help
ensure fair recognition of achievements and encourage applicants to pursue
higher education with motivation.
Additionally, MЕTU provides its students with access to international internships, research
projects, start-up support,
on-site industrial training, and
employment opportunities through
partner company agreements.
At the end of the meeting,
students were officially invited to MЕTU’s Open Day, to be held on April 25, 2025.
This event will allow prospective students to explore university buildings,
laboratories, and classrooms, and to engage directly with faculty members.
The International Engineering and Technology University continues to systematically support career guidance efforts, contributing to the development of the country’s engineering and technological capacity.
