On April 24,
2025, the "Ölketanu" club of the Department of Social and
Humanitarian Disciplines and World Languages organized an event dedicated to
the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan. This holiday symbolizes
friendship, mutual understanding, and harmony among all ethnic groups living in
the country.
Kazakhstan is a multinational
state, home to representatives of various peoples and more than 18 religious
denominations. The Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan emphasizes the
importance of Kazakhstani patriotism, national cohesion, and loyalty to a
shared homeland.
During the
event, participants spoke about the value of interethnic harmony, shared
stories from their families representing different cultures, and discussed the
contributions of all ethnic groups to the country’s development. The program
included cultural performances, exhibitions, and interactive sessions aimed at
strengthening interethnic dialogue among students.
