Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and Academician of the National Academy of Food Security of the Russian Federation Masimzhan Tursunovich Veliamov was awarded the jubilee medal "Kazakhstan Halky Assembly 30 years" for his outstanding contribution to strengthening the unity of the people of Kazakhstan, public harmony and the development of scientific cooperation between peoples. The award ceremony took place on April 19, 2025.

This is not the first award given to Professor Veliamov. In 2022, he was awarded the Certificate of Honor for "a worthy contribution to strengthening unity, public harmony and Kazakhstani patriotism."
