On May 16, 2025, the International Engineering and Technological University (METU) took part in the city festival “Almaty BalaFest – 2025,” dedicated to International Children’s Day. The event was organized by the Department of Education of Almaty in collaboration with the “Almaty Daryny” Center.

The main goal of the festival was to support and develop gifted children and talented youth, to promote scientific, technical, creative, and athletic achievements, and to encourage students to pursue education and professional growth.

METU expressed its support for young talents by awarding 3 Rector’s Scholarships to the most promising participants, contributing to the development of Kazakhstan’s future professionals and leaders.
