Step into a Bright Future: Graduation Ceremony for METU Graduates

On July 3, 2025, METU hosted a solemn diploma award ceremony — a truly unforgettable and historic day for the graduates. This day became a symbol of knowledge and perseverance, hope and belief, joy and a step into a new life.

Distinguished representatives of Kazakhstan`s science and education sectors were invited to the event. Among them were former Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Tursunovich Zhumagulov, Director General of the Scientific and Production Center for Microbiology and Virology Amankeldi Kurbanovich Sadanov, and Director General of the Institute of Information and Computational Technologies Maktagali Abdimazhitovich Bektemesov. The guests gave high praise to the university`s quality of education and shared their warm wishes with the graduates.

During the ceremony, graduates of various departments were awarded their diplomas with honor. The recipients included students from the following programs: “Software Engineering,” “Food Production Technology,” “Biochemical Engineering,” “Economics and Business,” and “Smart Technologies in Engineering.”

Diplomas were awarded by the heads of the country’s leading research institutes and industrial organizations, as well as university department heads.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of direct employment certificates to the top graduates from leading companies such as “Akademset,” “EcoService,” “Hyper Technology,” “Baker Tilly Qazaqstan Audit,” “SEA STAR,” and “Kamerton.” This was a clear demonstration of the strong partnership between the university and industry.

In addition, students who excelled academically and were active in public life received letters of appreciation and awards. From the stage, graduates shared heartfelt words of gratitude to their teachers and parents, touching the hearts of everyone in attendance.

This day became a bright moment in the history of METU, and for the graduates — the first step into their future journey. We wish every young professional great heights and tremendous success ahead!
