On September 5, 2025, a cultural and educational concert and an online competition dedicated to the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan were held at the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines and World Languages of the International University of Engineering and Technology. First-year students took part in the event.

The aim of the celebration was to promote respect for the linguistic and cultural diversity of Kazakhstan, as well as to popularize and support the languages of the peoples living in the country.

Speakers emphasized the importance of intercultural dialogue and linguistic integration in strengthening national unity, and highlighted the significance of preserving linguistic diversity. A slideshow featured prominent Kazakh linguists and their quotes about language and knowledge.

The audience enjoyed poems in Kazakh, Russian, and English. All of this created a warm atmosphere and reminded everyone of the richness of the country`s cultural heritage.

A special highlight was the online competition for dubbing scenes from films and cartoons, held on the Telegram platform. Based on the results of online voting among first-year students, the winners were determined, taking 1st and 2nd places and receiving prizes.
