MЕTU Students Discussed President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s Address
On September 8, 2025, the Head of State Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev delivered his Address to the people of Kazakhstan entitled “Kazakhstan
in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Solutions
through Digital Transformation.” In this regard, the Department of Social and
Humanitarian Disciplines and World Languages together with the Student
Government of the International Engineering and Technology University organized
a discussion at the Student House. The dialogue focused on the key priorities
outlined by the President: attracting major investments, seeking new approaches
to the development of the manufacturing sector, improving the agricultural
industry, modernizing housing, utilities, and water infrastructure, meeting new
requirements for human capital development, and the active introduction of
artificial intelligence technologies to renew all sectors of the economy.
During
the discussion, it was emphasized that Kazakhstan is an integral part of the
global community, and therefore today’s challenges such as global instability
and emerging threats to humanity require hard work, the pursuit of knowledge,
care for the prosperity of the country, as well as the fostering of culture,
honesty, responsibility, and patriotism. The students highlighted that the
younger generation’s future will be bright, prosperous, and secure with the
affirmation of the principles of Legality, Justice, and Order in society. The
discussion involved active participation of MITU students from 1st to 3rd year
across various specialties.
