On October 1, 2025, the International Engineering Technological Universityheld a regular meeting of the Academic Council under the chairmanship of Rector D. Akpanbetov.

At the beginning of the meeting, Rector D. Akpanbetov highlighted the university’s achievements in recent years. In particular, he noted the growth of research projects, the expansion of international partnerships, the professional accomplishments of the faculty, as well as the success of students in national and international competitions.

In addition, the Rector congratulated the university staff on the Day of Higher Education Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and presented letters of appreciation to several faculty members for their significant contributions to the development of education and science, as well as for achieving high performance in key performance indicators.

The agenda of the meeting included the following issues:

Development programs of the departments for the 2025–2026 academic year (within the framework of the “IETU Development Program for 2023–2029”);

Approval of plans for scientific and scientific-technical activities, educational and social-educational work, as well as financial and administrative activities for the 2025–2026 academic year;

Proposals for the publication of monographs and textbooks, as well as the approval of the university’s internal regulatory documents.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Rector D. Akpanbetov emphasized the importance of further strengthening efforts to improve the quality of education, develop scientific research, expand international cooperation, and support students.
