METU Students Held the “Clean Session” Campaign

At METU, students who are members of the Sanaly Urpaq club conducted the “Clean Session” campaign aimed at promoting academic integrity during the examination period.

As part of the initiative, club members visited classrooms and exam venues, monitoring the examination process and reminding both students and faculty of the importance of upholding academic honesty. Special attention was given to preventing cheating, the use of unauthorized materials, and any forms of academic misconduct.

The participants emphasized that academic honesty is a key foundation of quality education, fairness, and the professional development of future specialists. The campaign had a preventive and educational focus, contributing to the formation of a culture of responsibility, trust, and mutual respect within the academic community.

Such initiatives help strengthen academic culture, enhance transparency in the educational process, and reinforce ethical standards among students and faculty. METU students, members of the Sanaly Urpaq club, continue to actively contribute to the promotion of integrity, openness, and ethical values at the university.
