At the International Engineering and Technology University (METU), the university’s medical staff conducted a scheduled preventive round in the student dormitories. The initiative was aimed at protecting students’ health and preventing potential illnesses.
During the visit, specialists assessed students’ overall health, paid attention to their well-being, living conditions, and compliance with sanitary and hygiene standards. Where necessary, students received individual recommendations, along with guidance on maintaining and strengthening their health during periods of academic workload.
A key part of the initiative was a health and disease-prevention briefing. Medical professionals reminded students of the importance of personal hygiene, proper sleep and nutrition, timely access to medical care, and adherence to preventive measures while living in dormitories.
The preventive round was conducted in a calm and friendly atmosphere. Students actively communicated with the specialists, asked questions, and received practical advice. Such initiatives help foster a responsible attitude toward personal health and contribute to creating a safe and comfortable living environment.
The university plans to continue regular preventive check-ups and awareness activities, keeping students’ health and well-being as a top priority.
