Students of the Department of Software Engineering Conducted a Career Guidance Event for Schoolchildren
Recently, active students from the Department of Software Engineering made effective use of their weekends by making special visits to city and rural schools, where they held career guidance meetings with students. The main goal of the event was to introduce schoolchildren to IT and software engineering, spark their interest, and provide guidance on choosing their future profession.

During the event, students showcased their academic processes and project work, and spoke about modern trends and opportunities in the field of software engineering. They shared their experiences in areas such as programming, artificial intelligence, web and mobile application development, database management, and cybersecurity. In addition, special presentations were organized in each school, and practical advice on career choices was provided to students.

A notable feature of the visits was that students not only visited city schools but also rural ones. Students shared their interests and future career plans while receiving concrete practical guidance from the university students. For many schoolchildren, this meeting became the first step toward making an informed choice about their future profession.

Through sharing their experiences, the Department of Software Engineering students introduced schoolchildren to the wide opportunities available in the IT field. According to the students, such events help develop students’ creative abilities, improve logical thinking, and determine interest in technological areas.

The department plans to continue systematically organizing career guidance events in the future, introducing schoolchildren to engineering professions and modern technological fields.

"To become a future IT specialist, not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience is important. We want to share our experience to help schoolchildren achieve their dreams," say the department students.
