Guest lectures by an Associate Professor of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation are being held at the International Engineering and Technological University

From February 2 to February 7, 2026, the International Engineering and Technological University (METU) is hosting guest lectures by Shakizada Uteulievna Niyazbekova, Associate Professor of the Department of Banking and Monetary Regulation at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation (Moscow), PhD in Economics, Associate Professor.

As part of the visit, lecture sessions are being conducted for students of the educational programs “Accounting and Auditing,” “Finance,” and “Information Technologies and Engineering Economics” on key topics in modern finance and banking, including:

  • financial literacy;
  • cyber risks and financial fraud;
  • global trends and artificial intelligence;
  • ESG approaches, “green” projects and green lending of commercial banks;
  • Islamic banking as a fast-growing segment of the global financial system.

The guest lectures aim to enhance students’ practice-oriented knowledge, improve financial awareness, and strengthen inter-university academic cooperation.
