On July 18, 2025, the International Engineering and Technological University (METU) signed a cooperation agreement with Austral University (Argentina) aimed at developing scientific and educational collaboration, exchanging experience, and implementing joint academic initiatives.
Within the framework of this agreement, Professor Marcos Bamonte, a specialist in robotics, was invited to METU. From February 16 to 27, 2026, the professor will deliver a series of lectures and practical classes for students, focusing on modern trends in robotics, intelligent control systems, and the prospects of autonomous technologies.
The lectures of the invited professor will provide students with an opportunity to become familiar with international experience, modern scientific approaches, and practical aspects of developing robotic systems.
The university administration notes that cooperation with Austral University contributes to strengthening international academic ties, developing joint educational and research projects, and improving the quality of training specialists in engineering and information technologies.
