Meeting with Law Enforcement Representatives Held at the University as Part of the “Law and Order” Project

At the International Engineering and Technology University (METU), a meeting with law enforcement representatives was held as part of the “Law and Order” (“Zań men tártíp”) project. The initiative was organized by the METU College, while the event itself took place on the university campus, bringing together students and faculty members.

The main purpose of the meeting was to enhance students’ legal awareness, promote respect for the law, and prevent offenses within the student community. Representatives of law enforcement agencies addressed key issues related to public safety, legal responsibility, and the importance of maintaining order both within the educational institution and in everyday life.

During the session, participants received explanations of essential legal norms, were informed about the consequences of unlawful behavior, and were given practical recommendations on safe conduct in various situations. Particular attention was paid to the prevention of youth-related offenses, proper conduct in public places, and personal responsibility for one’s actions.

The meeting was conducted in an open dialogue format, allowing students to actively ask questions, share opinions, and receive comprehensive answers from specialists. This interactive approach made the event especially practical and meaningful for participants.

Such meetings contribute to strengthening students’ legal culture, fostering civic responsibility, and creating a safe educational environment. The university and METU College plan to continue implementing joint initiatives aimed at educating law-abiding and socially active youth.
