On February 27, 2026, a regular meeting on career
guidance activities was held at METU.
The discussion brought together heads of structural
divisions, department chairs, faculty members, and active students. The meeting
was lively and productive, with participants sharing their ideas on what the
2026 admission campaign should look like and what opportunities the university
can offer to prospective applicants.
The meeting covered the following topics:
— educational opportunities of the university for
applicants of the 2026 admission cycle;
— new formats of career guidance work with schools and
colleges;
— grants, academic mobility, internships, and
practice-oriented education;
— involving students in working with applicants as
university ambassadors.
Special attention was given to the innovations of the
upcoming admission campaign and to strengthening cooperation between academic
departments and the Department of Marketing and Career Guidance.
We believe that a strong admission campaign begins with
teamwork. That is why METU systematically builds a strategy for attracting
applicants — from the first introduction to enrollment.
