On March 4, an anti-terrorism lecture was held at the International Engineering and Technology University (METU) as part of the “Law and Order” (“Zań men tártíp”) project. The event aimed to raise students’ awareness of modern security threats and develop safe behavior skills in various situations.
During the lecture, participants were informed about measures to prevent terrorist threats, rules of conduct in public places, and the appropriate actions to take when encountering suspicious objects or emergency situations. Special attention was given to personal responsibility and the importance of vigilance in maintaining public safety.
Students were also introduced to the basic principles of anti-terrorism protection, the work of security services, and the role of every citizen in preventing potential threats. The lecture included practical examples and recommendations on how to follow safety procedures.
Such events contribute to developing a culture of safety among young people, increasing their legal and civic awareness, and helping students be prepared to respond correctly in potentially dangerous situations.
