From January 19 to
January 23, 2026, Elena Vladimirovna Solodova, Head of the Department of
Biochemical Engineering at the International University of Engineering and
Technology, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Corresponding Member of the
National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, completed an
internship abroad at leading European technical universities - Riga Technical
University (Latvia) and Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania).
The internship was
implemented within the framework of the GreenTech Horizons international
program for the project "Development of a dual transition to
environmentally friendly and digital technologies through education and
innovation in the Eastern Neighborhood, Central Asia and Asia".
During the
internship, modern approaches to the integration of green and digital
technologies into the educational process, issues of the development of
engineering education in the context of sustainable development, as well as
best practices in the implementation of scientific and innovative projects were
studied.
Participation in the
program made it possible to strengthen international academic ties, exchange
experiences with foreign colleagues and identify promising areas of cooperation
in the field of bioengineering, environmental technologies and sustainable development.
The acquired
knowledge and competencies will be implemented in the educational and
scientific activities of the University, contributing to the development of
modern educational programs and strengthening the international position of the
International University of Engineering and Technology.
