Students of the Department of Economics and Business organized and conducted the business game “Business Battle” as part of the Digital Nauryz celebration with the participation of METU students.

The game was based on the MECOM model — “Modeling of Economics and Management.” This business simulation allowed participants to immerse themselves in a real business environment, acting as managers of their own companies.

During the game, participants:

• made managerial decisions (pricing, production volumes, investments);
• analyzed market conditions;
• competed with other teams;
• aimed to achieve maximum profit.

Students of METU actively participated in the game, demonstrating a high level of engagement, strategic thinking, and teamwork skills.

 According to the results of the game:

• 1st place — students of IITE-25-1R group
• 2nd place — students of PI-25-1R group
• 3rd place — students of IITE-25-1.2R group

Such events contribute to the development of practical skills in economics and management, foster entrepreneurial thinking, and prepare students for real professional activities.

The Department of Economics and Business continues to implement modern educational formats by combining traditions and digital technologies through initiatives such as Digital Nauryz.
