On March 20, 2026, staff members of METU visited School-Lyceum No. 146 and School-Gymnasium No. 140 named after Mukagali Makatayev.

During the visit, the university representatives congratulated the school principals on the occasion of Nauryz, wishing prosperity and success to the staff of both institutions.

The representatives of METU also explored the schools’ facilities, including classrooms and infrastructure. In addition, they introduced students to the university’s academic programs, educational opportunities, and fields of study.

Students received information about admission requirements, student life, academic mobility, and future career prospects.

Such visits help strengthen cooperation between schools and the university and support students in making informed decisions about their future education.
