At the international chess tournament Narxoz Chess Cup–2026, students of the Software Engineering Department of the International Engineering and Technological University demonstrated strong performance, securing 15th place in the overall team standings.

The tournament brought together top students from leading universities both nationally and internationally, creating a highly competitive intellectual environment. Achieving such a result in a high-level competition is a significant accomplishment.
