The Head of the Department of Software Engineering at the International Engineering and Technological University, Professor Sakypbekova Meruert Zhumabekovna, conducted a career guidance meeting at School №54 in the village of Boraldai, Almaty region.

During the meeting, students were introduced to one of the most in-demand modern fields — software engineering and information technology. Special attention was given to the topic of Artificial Intelligence and its role in modern society as well as its future prospects.

In her speech, Professor Sakypbekova highlighted:

the wide application of artificial intelligence in medicine, education, finance, security, and industry;

the growing demand for IT specialists, especially in the field of software engineering, in the future.

Students actively participated in the meeting, showed strong interest in artificial intelligence, and asked various questions. Many of them demonstrated a willingness to learn modern technologies.

The interactive part of the event included a short game aimed at increasing students’ engagement. Active participants were awarded gifts on behalf of the university.

This meeting contributed to helping students make informed career choices and increased their interest in IT and artificial intelligence fields.
