A large-scale football tournament among university students was successfully held in Almaty, dedicated to the Rector’s Cup of the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts.

The competition brought together teams from leading universities across the city and became a vibrant sporting event that attracted significant interest among students. Each match was marked by high intensity, fierce competition, and a true fighting spirit, with no team giving up easily.

The METU team particularly stood out throughout the tournament, demonstrating a high level of preparation, discipline, and strong teamwork. Progressing confidently through each stage, the team secured a series of convincing victories over strong opponents and rightfully claimed 1st place.

The tournament served as an important platform for the development of student sports, strengthening sporting spirit, and fostering friendship between universities.
