Today, the comprehensive testing for admission to master`s degree programs officially began and will continue until August 10. Registration for applicants took place from June 1 to July 8 through the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan via app.testcenter.kz.

This year, more than 61,000 applications were submitted for the master`s comprehensive test (compared to 51,000 in 2025). The most popular fields of study include Education, Engineering, Manufacturing and Construction, and Business, Management and Law.

The comprehensive test for admission to scientific and pedagogical master`s programs is conducted electronically and consists of three sections:

• Foreign Language Test;
• Learning Readiness Test;
• Test in the Profile of the Educational Program Group.

Applicants are given 3 hours and 55 minutes to complete the test.

The passing score is 75 points, including:

• at least 25 points in the Foreign Language Test;
• at least 7 points in the Learning Readiness Test;
• at least 7 points in the first профиль subject;
• at least 7 points in the second профиль subject.

Applicants seeking admission to professional master`s programs take only the profile test for their educational program group. The passing score is 30 points, including at least 7 points in each of the two profile subjects.
