METU faculty participated in the International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence
On August 18–19, 2026, faculty members of the Department of Software Engineering participated in the international symposium “China–Kazakhstan: Intelligent Computing and Artificial Intelligence Innovations,” held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The symposium brought together representatives of universities, the scientific community, and the IT industry from Kazakhstan and China. During the event, experts presented reports on current research, modern technologies, and future developments in the field of artificial intelligence.
One of the practical sessions of the program was a workshop conducted by Alibaba Cloud specialists, focusing on AI agents and their potential applications in modern intelligent systems.
Participation in the symposium provided faculty members with an opportunity to explore current trends in artificial intelligence, exchange professional experience, and strengthen scientific and academic ties with representatives of leading universities and the IT industry.
