Ahead of Almaty Day, the METU Youth Organizations Committee held its annual apple giveaway, which has become a cherished tradition among university students.

As part of the initiative, students and young people at the university received apples — one of the main symbols of Almaty. 

The initiative aimed to create a festive atmosphere, highlight the cultural identity and symbols of the city, and bring students together through a warm and positive celebration.

The annual apple giveaway has become a special part of student life at METU, bringing joy and positive emotions to students while celebrating the city they live and study in.
