On the occasion of Almaty City Day, the METU Scientific Library organized a book exhibition entitled “Almaty – A City of Opportunities.”The exhibition features books and informative publications dedicated to the history of Almaty, its architecture, culture, prominent figures, as well as the city’s social and public development.Readers were presented with valuable publications such as “History of Almaty in Documents,” “The History of Almaty,” “Streets of Almaty,” “100 Impressions of Almaty,” “Almaty That Has Lived for a Thousand Years,” “Almaty – Beloved City,” and other books that tell the story of the city’s past and present. These publications provide readers with an opportunity to learn more about the history of Almaty, its cultural heritage, significant events, and the major stages of its development. Almaty is a unique city where history and innovation, traditions and modernity come together in harmony. Every street, building, and historical period preserves its own unique story. The book exhibition is an opportunity to introduce readers to the rich history and spiritual heritage of Almaty.
