On September 21, 2026, the International Engineering and Technology University officially opened the METU Media Studio.

As part of the opening ceremony, the ribbon was cut by Darhan Berikovich Akpanbetov, Rector of the International Engineering and Technology University, and Olzhas Omirserik, Director of the media technology company “EdMedia Group.”

METU Media Studio is a modern multimedia space designed to support the development of the university’s educational and informational content. The studio provides faculty members with the opportunity to professionally produce video lectures, video lessons, online courses, and other digital educational materials.

Key Features of the Studio

METU Media Studio is equipped with modern technology for producing high-quality video and audio content.

The studio provides opportunities to:

·         use Green Screen technology to create video lessons and presentation materials with virtual backgrounds;

·         conduct high-quality video recording using a professional lighting system;

·         record high-quality audio using professional microphone equipment;

·         use a teleprompter, making it easier for instructors to work with prepared texts and ensuring a more comfortable and professional recording process;

·         monitor the filming process using multiple monitors and screens;

·         produce video lectures, online classes, and webinars;

·         develop content for MOOC and digital educational courses;

·         create educational and instructional videos, presentations, and informational materials;

·         produce video content to showcase the university’s educational programs and projects.

Developing Digital Education

The activities of METU Media Studio are aimed at further developing the university’s digital educational infrastructure and promoting the effective use of modern multimedia technologies in the educational process.

The studio provides faculty members with the necessary conditions to develop original video lessons, online courses, MOOC courses, educational and instructional materials, and additional digital content for students.

The new studio will help to systematize the university’s educational content, improve its quality, and provide students with learning materials in a visual, interactive, and modern format.
