On a warm autumn day, a special event brought together science and nature, knowledge and practical experience.

On September 18, 2026, the scientific and practical event “Garden Day,” titled “Promising Varieties of Fruit and Berry Crops and Grapes: Science and Practice,” was held at the Almalyk experimental site in Panfilovo village, Talgar District, Almaty Region.

Ainur Adilkhanovna and Roza Sabitovna, representatives of the teaching staff of the Department of Technique and technology of food production, attended the event together with their students.

Surrounded by greenery, the experimental garden became a genuine open-air laboratory for the students. They explored promising varieties of fruit and berry crops and grapes, learned about their cultivation features, and became acquainted with modern agricultural technologies and methods for improving crop yields.

Scientists and industry experts shared their professional experience and provided valuable information about the achievements of domestic and international plant breeding, the production of high-quality agricultural products, plant care practices, and new directions in the development of the agricultural sector.

The visit enabled the students to connect the theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom with practical experience, broaden their professional outlook, and see their future profession from a new perspective.
