On October 8, 2026, room 405 hosted an engaging
session of the Student Public Speaking Club focused on the topic "Masters
of Public Speaking Across Different Eras". Under the guidance of their
experienced mentor, Tukebayeva Zhanyl, students dove into the world of rhetoric
to uncover the secrets of history`s greatest speakers.
The event featured a dynamic and highly interactive
program:
• Intellectual Warm-up: Participants practiced
30-second elevator pitches and discussed the profound power of persuasion.
• A Journey Through Eras: Students analyzed the
techniques of classical ancient orators (Demosthenes, Cicero, Socrates) and
explored the rich diplomatic traditions of the Kazakh Steppe judges and masters
of eloquence (Tole Bi, Kazybek Bi, Aiteke Bi).
• Theory & Practice: The group mastered the 3
pillars of impactful speech — Ethos (credibility), Logos (logic), and Pathos
(emotion).
• Team Quiz and Debates: During the "Oratorical
Duel," students sharpened their skills in defending viewpoints and making persuasive
arguments within a strict 45-second limit.
• The Final Round: Every participant delivered a
powerful 60-second speech following the structured framework of "Idea –
Argument – Conclusion" and received valuable peer feedback.
The active core of the club who demonstrated
outstanding speaking skills included: Sailaubekova Aizere, Turgunova Sarvinaz, Sergazy
Ainel, Ilesbay Adilbek, Ermerkarayeva Alina, Bukharova Didar, Seitkerek Tomiris,
