From November 3 to 5, 2026, the World Congress of Scientists in Mechanics and Engineering was held in Almaty. As part of this major scientific event, the International Engineering and Technological University hosted an international scientific conference entitled "Training of Scientific, Technical and Engineering Personnel: Modern Approaches and Technologies."

Bektas Ganiyevich Bostanov, Head of the Department of Software Engineering at the International Engineering and Technological University, served as Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee.

Master`s and doctoral students from the Department of Software Engineering also actively participated in the international scientific conference. The young researchers had an opportunity to exchange scientific experience and discuss current issues in modern engineering education, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence.

The conference aimed to strengthen scientific connections among researchers, faculty members, and young scientists, encourage the exchange of innovative ideas, and promote international scientific cooperation.

The leadership of the Head of the Department in organizing the international conference, along with the participation of master`s and doctoral students, contributes to the development of research activities within the Department of Software Engineering, enhances the scientific potential of young researchers, and strengthens the university`s reputation in the international academic community.
