General provisions

The “Stylish Gardeners” student research club of the International Engineering and Technological University is a voluntary scientific and creative association for proactive students interested in agriculture, ecology, and professional development.

The club operates on the principles of voluntary participation, equality, academic integrity, mutual respect, safety, self-governance, and compliance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The club is not a legal entity.

Mission

To develop students' research interests in fruit and vegetable production, crop science, and agricultural soil science; promote environmentally responsible farming; and strengthen research competencies required by the agricultural sector.

Goal

To support the education of future specialists with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in soil fertility conservation, modern crop production technologies, and the sustainable use of natural resources.

Main objectives:

• Study the diversity of garden and agricultural plants;
• Assess agrochemical soil indicators and soil fertility;
• Determine how nutrients and fertilizers affect plant growth and yield;
• Study plant diseases and pests and the ecological role of beneficial organisms;
• Learn soil conservation, biological farming, and digital monitoring methods;
• Prepare research projects, presentations, and experimental findings.

Main activities:

• Laboratory and field research;
• Analysis of soil and plant samples;
• Development of an environmentally sustainable garden model;
• Participation in seminars, conferences, and student competitions;
• Exploration of modern agricultural technologies and digital monitoring tools.

Members' rights:

• Participate in club meetings, research, and events;
• Propose additions to the work plan and research themes;
• Receive complete information about club activities;
• Develop projects individually or as part of a team;
• Withdraw from the club voluntarily.

Members' responsibilities:

• Follow safety and laboratory work requirements;
• Contribute to the club's goal and objectives;
• Follow the approved work plan and principles of academic integrity;
• Complete assigned tasks responsibly;
• Avoid actions that may damage the reputation of the club or university.

Structure and management

The club consists of a scientific supervisor, chairperson, secretary, and members. The supervisor defines the scientific and methodological direction, approves the work plan, and guides research. The chairperson organizes meetings and events. The secretary maintains internal records, minutes, and reports.

Membership

University undergraduate and graduate students who are prepared to participate regularly may become members. Faculty members and industry specialists who contribute to the club may be invited as advisers or honorary members.
