General Provisions

The “iStudent” club is an activity-oriented student organization aimed at developing skills and knowledge in smart technologies, the Internet of Things (IoT), electronics, and creating devices using platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and others.
The club’s program is based on project activities, including problem setting, solution finding, algorithm design, electronics development, software creation, testing and debugging, and project defense through public discussions. The club provides students with the opportunity to develop creative thinking, find unconventional solutions, and apply acquired skills in practice.

Mission of the Club:

To deepen students' knowledge in smart technologies and electronics, develop their skills in designing and creating IoT devices, and stimulate their research and creative activity in engineering and technology.

The club is not a legal entity.

Full name of the Club:

  • In Russian: «iStudent» Международного инженерно-технологического университета.
  • In English: “iStudent” of International Engineering Technological University.
  • Short name in both languages: “iStudent.”

Goals and Objectives of the Club

Goals of the Club:

  • To develop a scientific approach to solving engineering problems using modern technologies and control systems, including IoT, electronics, and programming.
  • To enhance skills in designing and creating smart devices.
  • To stimulate students’ scientific and creative activity and increase their interest in the field of engineering.

Main Objectives of the Club:

  • To identify creative potential and engineering abilities in students.
  • To increase students’ interest in electronics, IoT, and smart technologies through collaborative activities.
  • To encourage students' cognitive activity and develop their research skills.
  • To expand theoretical knowledge in electrical engineering, programming, and design.
  • To develop practical skills in working with microcontrollers, programming, and designing IoT devices.
  • To enhance teamwork skills through participation in project groups.

Areas of Club Activities:

  • Programming and creating IoT devices based on platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontrollers.
  • Development and integration of wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) into smart device systems.
  • Electronic design: creating circuits, printed circuit boards, assembling, and testing devices.
  • Development of applications for managing IoT devices.
  • Using sensors and actuators in smart home and smart city systems.

Rights and Responsibilities of Club Members

Club Members Have the Right to:

  • Acquire practical knowledge and skills in smart technologies and electronics.
  • Participate in scientific and project competitions and club events.
  • Use club resources, including equipment, software, and workspaces.
  • Work individually or in groups on projects.

Club Members Are Obliged to:

  • Maintain academic honesty and avoid using materials from other sources without proper citation.
  • Actively participate in club activities and projects.
  • Handle club equipment and educational materials with care.
  • Follow safety rules when working with electronics and laboratory equipment.
