METU Career Center supports students and graduates in their professional journey — from the first internship steps to successful employment.

Organization of Professional Internships
  • Organizational and methodological support for all types of professional internships;
  • Coordination of the work of departments in organizing professional practice;
  • Concluding agreements with enterprises, organizations, and institutions;
  • Development and updating of regulatory and methodological documentation.
  • Concluding cooperation memorandums with companies and professional communities;
  • Organizing interaction with industrial, scientific, and governmental organizations;
  • Providing employers access to the student resume database;
  • Conducting business correspondence with partners and informational-promotional activities.
  • Advisory support on employment issues and resume writing;
  • Collecting and distributing information about job vacancies;
  • Supporting grant students on mandatory work-off requirements;
  • Organizing hackathons, career forums, company presentations, and workshops.
  • Coordinating the activities of the Alumni Association;
  • Utilizing alumni experience to develop educational and scientific initiatives;

Graduate Employment Monitoring

The Career Center carries out mandatory monitoring of graduate employment by educational programs and departments. After graduation, you must:

  • Submit a certificate from your place of work
  • Send a scanned copy to the Career Center email

To improve the work of the Career Center

Students before graduation, graduates, as well as employers and university partners fill out questionnaires to monitor employment, assess training quality, and improve the work of the Career Center. The surveys help:

  • assess the demand for graduates in the labor market;
  • receive feedback from employers on the quality of specialist training;
  • improve student training taking into account labor market requirements;
  • collect data for university reports and rankings.
