Bachelor's degree - discounts and benefits 2026

Participants in the state grant competition who did not receive a grant are eligible a 30% discount on the first year of study. Please, contact the admissions committee for details.

Discounts for Full-time applicants for full-time UNT scores (does not apply to full-time programs distance learning technologies) :
120 points and above — 100% discount for the entire period of study
110–119 points — 50% discount for the first year of study
100–109 points — 30% discount for the first year of study

METU provides a 30% discount to college graduates with honors degrees, 30% to METU college graduates, and 20% to other college graduates for the entire period of full-time study.



Discounts of 30, 40 and 50% are assigned by decision of the METU commission:

  • winners of international olympiads and scientific competitions in general education subjects of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (awarded with diplomas of 1, 2, 3 degrees);
  • Winners of republican Olympiads and scientific competitions in general education subjects of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (awarded with diplomas of 1, 2, 3 degrees);
  • To outstanding athletes, winners of sports competitions, creative competitions and festivals.


30% discount for applicants - children of MITU employees.

They can count on a 20% discount:

  • A direct relative of a graduate of MITU (formerly KazITU);
The following applicants may receive a 20% discount:

  • The first and second degree of kinship with a student studying on a paid basis (parents, aunts, uncles, relatives and cousins)


Students on paid tuition who have the highest GPA (Grade Point Average), actively support the university, and participate in student life may receive a Rector's Grant (100% discount) for the next academic year based on their current year's performance.
Tuition discounts for the next academic year are awarded as follows:
GPA 4.0 — 100%
GPA 3.8 — 50%
GPA 3.6 — 20%
GPA 3.4 — 10%

Holders of the Altyn Belgi badge receive a 100% discount for the entire period of study.

Winners of Olympiads organized in partnership with the training centers Unidem, Edtech, Ok Bolashak, Mia Education, Kursan, and Aiplus receive discounts according to the terms established by the events.
Graduates of these centers receive a 20% discount on the first year of study.

For full-time education for the entire period, 20% are received by:
  • applicants from a large family (4 or more minor children);
  • applicants who are orphans or left without parental care;
  • children from single-parent families (divorced more than 3 years ago or one of the parents died)
  • applicants with disabilities and additional needs of groups 1-2.

Master's degree - discounts and benefits 2026

METU Bachelor's degree graduates are entitled to a 50% discount for the entire period of study.

Applicants to the Master's program who score a passing score on the comprehensive testing receive a 50% discount for the entire period of study

Those who have completed a Master's degree at METU receive a 50% discount for the entire period of study.
